Cody Johnson is keeping the momentum going for his upcoming 10th studio album, Banks of the Trinity, with the release of the track ‘Horseback,’ written by Randy Montana, Wyatt McCubbin, and Paul Sikes and produced by Trent Willmon.

The 16-track Banks of the Trinity, which features collaborations with Luke Combs and Brothers Osborne (along with two songs written by Cody) was produced by Trent Willmon, and is set to drop June 26.

Johnson also has shared album singles Hello Lonesome, written by Jimmy Yeary, Seth Mosley, and Matt Rogers, which he first previewed during his recent Stagecoach performance; as well as the recent No. 1 track The Fall, and the song I Want You.   Johnson has described the album as deeply personal, saying, “When I heard the song ‘Banks Of The Trinity’ for the first time, it was like a portrait flashed in my head of memories I thought I’d forgotten. It took me straight back home to Sebastopol, Texas, where I grew up on the river.” That sense of reflection builds on the success of his previous album, Leather, which earned CMA Album of the Year in 2024.

Beyond the studio, Johnson is currently touring nationwide on his “Cody Johnson Live ’26” run, adding new dates due to high demand and drawing massive crowds. His live schedule also includes a major appearance alongside George Strait at Clemson’s Memorial Stadium, marking the venue’s first concert since 1999.
